Ingredients
  

2 cups (400 g) sushi rice, cooked
3 tbsp (45 ml) rice vinegar
1 tbsp (15 g) sugar
1/2 tsp (2 g) salt
4 nori sheets
Fillings: cucumber strips, avocado slices, crab sticks or smoked salmon (as preferred)

Method
 

Mix warm rice with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt; cool.
    Place nori sheet on bamboo mat, shiny side down.
      Spread rice thinly over nori, leaving edge clear.
        Arrange fillings in center; roll tightly using mat.
          Cut into 3 cm pieces with sharp knife.
            Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
