Ingredients
  

2 cups (400 g) cooked rice (cooled)
1 carrot (60 g), diced
1/2 cup (60 g) green peas
1 onion (80 g), chopped
2 garlic cloves (6 g), minced
2 tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce
2 tbsp (30 ml) oil
1 egg (50 g), optional
Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Heat oil; sauté garlic and onion.
    Add carrot and peas; cook 3 min.
      Push veggies aside; scramble egg in pan.
        Add rice, soy sauce, salt, and pepper; stir-fry 5 min.
          Serve hot with spring onion garnish.
