Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp:
  • 300 g shrimp peeled & deveined
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • For the Taco Filling:
  • 4 small flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • ½ cup sweet corn optional
  • ½ small red onion thinly sliced
For the Creamy Lime Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp honey optional
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • A pinch of salt

Equipment

  • Non-stick skillet
  • Tongs
  • Small Bowl for sauce
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Season Shrimp:
  2. In a bowl, combine shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cook Shrimp:
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and lightly charred. Remove from heat.
  5. Prepare Sauce:
  6. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, yogurt, lime juice, cilantro, honey, and salt.
  7. Warm Tortillas:
  8. Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 20–30 seconds each until soft.
  9. Assemble Tacos:
  10. Add lettuce/cabbage to tortillas → place shrimp → drizzle sauce → top with onion and corn (optional).
  11. Serve Immediately.

Notes

💡Notes
Don’t overcook shrimp — they become rubbery.
You can replace mayonnaise with only yogurt for lighter version.
