Ingredients

For Brownies:
  • ½ cup 115 g unsalted butter
  • 1 cup 200 g sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup 65 g all-purpose flour
  • cup 40 g cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
For Sundae:
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup hot fudge sauce
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Crushed nuts or chocolate chips for topping

Equipment

  • 8×8-inch baking pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Oven
  • Ice cream scoop

Method

  1. Preheat Oven: Set to 180°C (350°F). Grease baking pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Brownie Batter: Melt butter, mix with sugar and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time. Stir in cocoa, flour, and salt.
  3. Bake: Pour into pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Do not overbake — center should be slightly fudgy.
  4. Cool & Cut: Let cool completely, then cut into squares.
  5. Assemble Sundae: Place brownie square in bowl, top with ice cream, drizzle hot fudge, add whipped cream and nuts.

Notes

For extra fudgy texture, underbake slightly and chill before cutting.
Add chocolate chunks to the batter for double chocolate flavor.
