Ingredients
  

4 medium tomatoes (~400 g), chopped
1 medium onion (~100 g), chopped
2 cups (480 ml) vegetable broth
1 tsp (5 ml) olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste

Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Strainer
  • 1 Ladle

Method
 

Heat oil in saucepan; sauté onion 2 min.
    Add tomatoes; cook 5 min.
      Add broth; simmer 10 min.
        Blend until smooth; strain if needed.
          Season with salt & pepper; serve hot (3 bowls).
